Course Description: This course has been designed to familiarize students with both the overall computer system as well as the Microsoft Office and Google Suites. To that end, students will learn to effectively produce a variety of personal and professional documents. Emphasis will be placed on keying, formatting, editing, document spacing, margins, page numbering, saving a document, etc. Proofreading for accuracy will be stressed. Moreover, students will learn the tools necessary to both create and use spreadsheets. The use of charts, formulas, and tables will be highlighted as well. In addition, maintaining appropriate digital citizenship will be discussed.
