Assignments/Bellringers: All assignments are posted in class, and must be recorded in agendas.
Assignment grades are based on the following:
- Completion
- Following directions
- Neatness
- Organization
- Handing in on time – (Late work generally not accepted)
- Effort
Students will complete daily “bellringers” which are warm-up assignments completed during the first several minutes of class. Each student will earn 2 points for participating appropriately in the bellringer activity, or lose two points if he or she chooses not to participate (by not following the bellringer rules). The sum of the bellringers will be added or subtracted from the assignment grade for daily written assignments completed both in and out of class. It has been my experience that students participate well and add many bonus points to their assignment grades through bellringers! Some bellringers will be scored in part based upon the accuracy of solutions.
